This auction will end on Sunday, May 26th, and bidding will start to close at 7 pm and then every 12 seconds until all lots are sold.  

Pick-up will be on TUESDAY, May 28th, from 1-7 pm at 1800 Tillery Place, Unit G in Raleigh.  We will ship any invoice for a flat $8.00 fee nationwide.  There will be no sign-up time required for this pick-up.

Maria Claro, was a widely exhibited and award winning painter and sculptress that was born in Barcelona Spain in 1933.  She studied art and aesthetics in South America  and worked professionally in pastels, watercolors, egg tempera, gouache, charcoal, graphite, ink, oil and clay.  Whatever medium she used, she portrayed the struggle between the positive and negative forces of our existence.  

Maria Claro died in 2016 and bequeathed her extensive collection to the Corda Foundation, Inc. in Chapel Hill, NC.  The offerings in this auction have been professional packed and stored since 2016.  GC5 Auctions has been selected to liquidate the collection benefiting the Corda Foundation, Inc.
